About Us
A local First responder-EMT/Veteran owned and operated local junk removal, clutter reduction and demolition service in Charlotte NC and surrounding areas!!

I wanted to create something of my own
This venture was a mixture of wanting to finally do the hard work to create something from the ground up and finding a balance in my professional work life. In the military and fire department, very long hours are worked. Usually most firefighters are pressured to find a second fire department job in addition to their main full time department job. This pressure is not always induced by the drive to serve at another department, but out of necessity. Pay can be rather meager in the southern fire departments. A full time firefighter works an average of 53 hours a week at their full time fire department, working 24-48 hour shifts straight. Then you pick up a few more shifts at the secondary part time department to make extra money. The result is a culmination of 70 hour work weeks, lack of sleep, stress, and life/relationship struggles. Believe it or not.. I love being a firefighter/EMT. My goal with creating Lilly n' Me was to build a solution that quenched the financial burden of life in a way that didn't end up with me in a fire house all the time. A solution that would allow me to be able to come home at night and spent time with family and friends. This is my goal, and I am dang proud of it!

Meet the Team
Our team is dedicated to providing efficient and reliable junk removal and hauling services to our community.

Erik Thomson
Founder & Operator
Raised in Charlotte, and still enjoying the community as an adult now! I have had a fantastic experience trying out a few different job's, but mostly all with the same theme- try to help people, have an adventure, make a little bit of money along the way...and a pinch of danger.

Lilly Thomson
Operations Manager
Well... now that we are diving deeper into roles in the business here, I'm really not sure if I have ever seen Lilly work. Her time card is always showing overtime though... strange.

Evan Milejczak
Field Operations Manager
Evan comes from Minnesota, he has worked in health care since moving to Charlotte, and is currently in school for Nursing. With a sharp mind and a great work ethic, Evan is a fantastic part of the team. Evan notices and reminds me of details in our day to day operations that I may look over while trying to facilitate the day and coordinate other things. Evan and I met and bonded over our outgoing style of being forward and meeting others in the community. That coupled with a genuine caring for the people and community around him make him a great addition to this project!
